Keeping Up With 'Dega

Todd has served as the president and chief executive officer of Denmark Technical College in Denmark, South Carolina, since 2020. He will assume the role of Talladega president on July 1. Walter Kimbrough has served as interim Talladega president since June 2024 after Gregory J. Vincent retired.

“His experience and dedication will be invaluable as we navigate the next chapter of Talladega College’s rich history and continue on our path forward to build back better and stronger,” said Rica Lewis-Payton, chair of the board of trustees. “I look forward to working with President Todd, and I believe that he is equipped with the skills and experiences to help the college achieve its goals.”

Talented Tenth.jpg

TCNAA seeks to engage alumni – our Talented Tenth – to raise 10% of the $10 million overall college’s goal.

In light of our current environment, traditional funding programs have been eliminated.  This reality, coupled with addressing the college’s internal challenges requires a greater degree of our financial and moral support.  Our financial gifts and continued support of Talladega College with our time and talents will only aid ‘Dega in garnering support from external donors.

ATL Chapter leads the charge with 703 donors giving $58, 829 collectively through the Atlanta Chapter and 36 donors giving $22,535  independently.
